Ultrasound Massage Therapy for Prostatitis

Use of ultrasound for treatment of prostatitis is a new approach. It is popular in China. This is used for assistant treatment along with the injections. It is not used treating prostatitis alone.

As blockage develops in prostate glands, the waste that block the glands slowly gets harder. If untreated, it is going to form cyst a few years.

The injections are able to break down the blockage. However, this is a process that takes time and it couldn't be rushed. In reality, it just takes too long for this to happen in some stubborn cases.

So we have Ultrasound assistant treatment that could speed up the break down process. The high frequency ultrasound pass through the prostate glands and vibrate everything that blocks its way. This physical shake up movement helps break loose the blockage tissue, damage the tight structure of the waste.

The effect is almost immediate. After one to five days, the urine sample usually show the presence of thick deposit. The deposit continues for a few days.

Clinically, the ultrasound machine is place near the perineum area and groin area. The treatment session last for about twenty minutes. The machine should never get close to the testicles because that could pose damage to the tender testicles.

The process is somewhat unbearable because of the distinctive pain. It is very hard to explain but it is like the tissue is being shaken by a strong force and you may feel like the tissue is bombarding each other. Once ultrasound is moved to other area, the pain immediately go away in the original spot.

This ultrasound treatment is very helpful to most patients, particularly those with blockage.
