Avoid Oral-Antibiotics-Induced Damage to Body

If you have been taking tons of antibiotics, or you have some medical knowledge, you will notice the damage of oral antibiotics to your body. The damage is permanent and sometimes even critical or life-threatening.

The liver and the kidney are the two organs that got hurt most. Antibiotics is actually decomposed by the liver and the kidney and then moved out of our body. Long term use of antibiotics has a very severe damage to the body.

If a prostatitis patient is having some liver or kidney problem, then it is not suitable for the patient to receive oral antibiotics. The only option left is probably herbal treatment or other localized injection treatment that avoid liver and kidney detoxification function.

The following is a detailed description of antibiotics, liver and kidney.

Antibiotics and Chronic Liver Diseases

In some cases, chronic hepatitis patients need to use antibiotics for various surgical, dental procedures and unrelated infections. Many prostatitis patients don't realize the possible harmful effects and riks some antibiotics may cause their liver.

A General Guide

Detoxification of drugs such as antibiotics and its metabolites is one of the most important complicated functions of the liver. Some antibiotics can cause direct damage to their liver, while others can cause allergic reactions, which could lead to vital or severe reactions in patients with chronic liver disease.

For patients with liver disorder, the normal function of liver is not working and the detoxification function of the liver is already compromised that cause harmful substances that would normally be metabolized could actually stay in the body and accumulate in the liver or in the bloodstream. Antibiotics also got accumulated because of this and could become toxic to the body and its functions can change drastically or hampered.

The following is a list of some of the most common antibiotics groups being used today. They are grouped according to the potential harmful effects on the liver.

They are grouped from most potentially harmful to least harmful.

1. Tetracycline family

Doxycyline, Methacycline, Oxytetracycline,Tetracycline, Minocylinum, Guamecycline, and Demethylchlortetracycline. When used in larger doses, antibiotics of this group can cause fatty liver, fever, jaundice.

Hepatitis patients should pay attention to this group when taking Tetreacycline family antibiotics and report their liver condition to their doctor immediately and ask for substitutes.

2. Erythromycin family

Erythromycin, Erythromycin, ethylsuccinate, Erythromycin Estotate. cholestasis (bile retention) and jaundice are damage of these family of antibiotics. After 10 to 14 days’ use, the harmful effects usually start to show . Stomachache, jaundice, nausea, elevation of liver enzymes and vomiting are clinical symptoms patients may experience. There could be misdiagnosis since these conditions are often considered allergic reactions by many doctors because the incidence rate is rare.

3. Chloramphenicolum family.

Chloramphenicol Palmitate, Chloramphenicolum, Thiamphenicol and Chloramphenicoli Succinas. When this group of antibiotics metabolize in the liver and lose their antibiotic effects. The combination can accumulate in the bloodstream and can cause bone marrow inhibition.
