Prognosis of Prostatitis

Blockage vs Without Blockage

Prostatitis with blockage demands special attention during treatment because it is the most difficult case compared with prostatitis without blockage.

Blockage of the prostate glands stops the normal flow of prostate fluid and the inflammatory debris and trap them inside and create a physiological change of the texture of prostate glands.

Medicine from injections work better and faster in the unblocked prostate where it could travel to different corner of the prostate glands and eradicate bacteria.

In comparison, the treatment needs to tackle blockage first before inflammation, so the time required is longer. Sometimes blockage could be stubborn and it is hard to predict when it starts unblocking. When extra time is needed for some cases, the prostatitis patients may not be able to stay that long in the treatment or they may just lose confidence to the prostatitis treatment.

Blockage of the prostate glands is not give enough attention in the prostatitis area, even those on the forefront of researching and testing new prostatitis treatments. Blockage is the most crucial issue in determining the success or failure of a prostatitis treatment.

Prostatitis without blockage has a better chance of getting cured on schedule. The clinical reactions are not as unpredictable as that with blockage.
